My new engagement ring Hibernum popped the question on a beach during a lovely sunset. It was very romantic! 1.5 carat blue-green sapphire flanked by two medium-sized diamonds with 10 more smaller diamonds set into the white gold engraved antique-style band.

I’m not the biggest fan of diamonds so I wanted a colored stone as the main stone and this one was the color of Lake Superior or Lake Michigan on a sunny day… blue with that hint of green. We love the big lakes (I grew up in Racine on Lake Michigan) so it was perfect!
